Resident Meetings are scheduled as a means for residents to offer input on programs planned and delivered. Suggestions are evaluated to determine whether it falls within the guidelines and mission of the foundation and TSHAC. Annual calendars are distributed to residents to notify of upcoming events.

Resident Councils In an effort to help achieve community goals, one of the first steps is to organize and establish Resident Councils. Resident Councils aid in the development of leadership and participation among the residents; and most importantly, provides a voice for communicating needs directly to the Ownership. AHF encourages the formation of these councils and is available to offer assistance if needed.

The establishment of this project has had its high and lows and has been challenging. To date we continue to suggest these councils at all meetings and hope that soon these councils are established at all AHF communities.
